Plainview Area Health System is a full service hospital. We are Medicaid and Medicare certified offering acute care, skilled care, and intermediate care.  PAHS provides home health, physical, speech, and occupational therapy, cardiac and pulmonary rehab, MRI, CT Scans, Ultrasound, Bone Density, Respiratory Therapy, Mammography, a 24-hour Emergency Room, Laboratory and Radiology. The following specialty clinics are offered at the hospital each month:  Urology, Cardiology, OB/GYN, Gastroenterology, Pulmonary, General Surgery, Breast Disorders, Vascular, ENT, Audiology, Podiatry and Nephrology.

Plainview Area Health System has an attached rural health clinic that is currently staffed by two physicians and a physicians assistant. Martha McCabe, PA-C has been with the facility since September 2001, Dr. Denise Sammons joined our team in February 2005 and Dr. Richard Bell started in March of 2005.

Currently, we are in the process of adding a new radiology suite onto the hospital. We will be replacing our existing radiology equipment with new state of the art equipment and also adding an in house CT. The new addition is scheduled to be finished by March of 2007. This new addition will also house the PAC system for the radiologist to read the films electronically. Plainview Area Health System is very excited about this new addition and is looking forward to its completion.
