Meet Our Health Care Providers:
Dr. Richard P. Bell
Dr. Bell grew up in the York, Nebraska area graduating from York High School. He came to Plainview in March of 2005. He served as the Emergency Room Director at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk for 13 years and also the Medical Director of the Hemodialysis Unit at Faith Regional for 11 years. Dr. Bell graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and did his residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center Family Practice. He is Board Certified in Family Practice and Emergency Medicine. Dr. Bell is the Medical Director at the Plainview Manor/ Assisted Living and is Medical Director of the Plainview Rescue Unit. He serves as Chief of Staff at Plainview Area Health System. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Nebraska Medical Association, Madison County Medical Association and American College of Emergency Physicians.
Dr. Denise Sammons

Dr. Sammons grew up near Amelia, Nebraska graduating from Atkinson High School. She came to Plainview in February of 2005. Before that she had a private practice in Pierce, Nebraska. Dr. Sammons graduated from University of Nebraska Medical Center and did her residency at Lincoln Medical Education Foundation Family Practice Program. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and Nebraska Academy of Family Physicians. In the past she wrote a column for the Norfolk Daily News entitled “Doc Sammons Says”.
Martha McCabe, PA-C
Ms. McCabe graduated from Sandhills Publics School and came to Plainview in August of 2001. She previously worked at Burke, South Dakota Medical Clinic/Hospital and Naper Medical Center in Nebraska. Ms. McCabe graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center Physician Assistant Program. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Nebraska Academy of Physician Assistants. Ms. McCabe worked as a Medical Laboratory Technician before pursuing her Physician Assistant degree.
Dr. Timothy Kneib

Plainview Area Health System is pleased to announce that Dr. Timothy Kneib has joined our Outreach Staff. Dr. Kneib, an urologist from Associates, will be seeing patients starting September 25th and will coming to Plainview once month thereafter. Dr. Kneib attended medical school at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS and did his internship and residence at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, TN. He has been practicing at Siouxland Urology Associates since 1998.
Dr. Kneib is replacing Dr. Hepperlen, who retired after seeing patients in Plainview for the last 29 years. Plainview Area Health System wishes to thank Dr. Hepperlen for his faithful service and wishes a warm welcome to Dr. Kneib.
